"In The Here After"

"Joseph Smith declared that the mother who laid down her little child, being deprived of the privilege, the joy, and the satisfaction of bringing it up to manhood or womanhood in this world, would, after the resurrection, have all the joy, satisfaction and pleasure, and even more than it would have been possible to have had in mortality, in seeing her child grow to the full measure of the stature of its spirit ... when the mother is deprived of the pleasure and joy of rearing her babe to manhood or to womanhood in this life, through the hand of death, that privilege will be renewed to her hereafter, and she will enjoy it to a fuller fruition than it would be possible for her to do here. When she does it there, it will be with the certain knowledge that the results will be without failure, whereas here, the results are unknown until after we have passed the test."

-Joseph F. Smith, Gospel Doctrine

  1. Logan and Sarah,

You guys are so amazing. I know that baby Cadence is back with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I'm so sorry. My mom called me last night to tell me about the funeral but I didnt get the call til today. SOrry I couldnt make it. You are in my thoughts and prayers. My mother in law is Karine Romero and your nurse. She absolutely adores you guys. WHat a small world. Melinda just told me about your blog today and it is so touching. Thanks for updating. I love you guys! Even though we arent as close as cousins should be. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. My mom told me the funeral was beautiful and everything that was said was very nice. I am amazed Logan you were able to sing and let the spirit come through song, I think I would have been crying through the whole thing. If you wouldn't mind, I would love to see pictures of her in her white dress with all her hair and also the cute clothes mentioned in the previous post. I want to see the cute skinny jeans!! Love you guys and we will keep you in our prayers. We just went to the festival of trees tonight and most of the trees were donated in memory of someone and it made me think of you guys. Love you and your family!

  3. Logan and Sarah our hearts just hurt for you. I can't even image the pain and trial you have been through. You are such wonderful people and we look up to you guys so much. We want you to know that you are in our prayers and thoughts. We hope that things are going well for you. Please let us know if there is ANYTHING that we can do for you. May we bring you dinner some night? If you need anything our number is (435) 797-6930
